IPF DOTS Formula FAQ

How relative strength coefficients level the playing field across weight categories.

DOTS (Dynamic Objective Team Scoring) is the official relative strength formula created by Tim Konertz and adopted by the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF). It normalizes lifting totals across different bodyweight classes so a 66kg lifter can compete fairly against a 105kg lifter.
